bigwill29 as released a new course real course rendition, Wanaki Golf Course.
Steggs11 as written up some tutorials for importing LiDAR using the free LAStools program and using the UK DEFRA website to download UK LiDAR. He has also written a small utility for extracting portions of LiDAR and inserting them into your plot in the proper location so that it lines up with other data you've already imported. These are now on the Utilities Page towards the bottom of the page.
Red Chain Games is discontinuing the availability of stock courses and resources on their server through the portal. This site is now hosting those stock courses and resources. Formerly stock courses were listed but with no link to download, just a link to the portal under version. They now have a link to download on the courses page and the portal link has been removed. They are labeled as stock courses in the notes section. Stock resources are available as a download on the utilities page. The portal is still available on the utilities page and required for multiplayer internet play.
The 27 hole version of Bull's Eye/Tri-City has been split into two courses, the 18 hole Bull's Eye Country Club and the 9 hole Tri-City Golf Course. The resolution of the textures on the signs and releasing has also been reduced. These changes should straighten out the crashing issues specific to this course for good but if you still encounter problems please e-mail me. I also am releasing accurate renditions of the real courses as well as tournament editions. The tournament editions feature similar length tee combinations for tournament play variety, some added back tees not on the real course, and, for Tri-City, some historical bunkers that no longer exist today. I also updated the Princeville Resort (Prince Course) to the tournament naming scheme. No changes other than naming were made to Princeville. The tournament edition only features tournament length tee combinations. No additional length for WGC from tees not already on Princeville was needed.
The Princeville Resort (Prince Course) has been released by Brian Zager. It is a real course located on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Added the Milkshape Plugins to the utilities page for those who want to create 3D objects for courses in WGC2011 but don't have access to 3D Studio Max.
After almost 3 years of work and more than a year after reaching feature complete due to crashing issues online, Bull's Eye Country Club; Tri-City Golf Course is finally released. This is a 27 hole course. Bull's Eye is the first 18 and Tri-City is the last 9. More information about the course is posted on my website. Hopefully the issues are straightened out but if consistent crashing or the player locking occurs for you please e-mail me.
World Golf Challenge 2011 is now available as a standalone download for free without the portal and no activation code required. There is full functionality of the course designer and game except for playing with other players over the internet. Internet play still requires the portal and an activation code. Request a free activation code by leaving a message on the forum. Graphics updates created by the community are also rolled into this download so no need to download them separate. Find it as the top link on the utilities page.
Also, an updated version of Brian Silvernail's The Preserve has replaced the old version.

The Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa, home of The Honda Classic, has been released by Terry Armstrong.

Three new courses have been released since the last time the site was updated. They are now available for download on the site. From Jeff Helton two real courses, Dacotah Ridge Golf Club and Longaberger Golf Club and from Terry Armstrong a fictional course, Seascape Country Club.
Three courses by Jim Dickson have been added to the site: Tanah Merah Country Club (Garden Course), Royal Birkdale Golf Club and Merion Golf Club (called Ardmore in game). Note that these courses are not listed at the top of the latest courses list due to them actually being completed earlier.

Joe Habiger has released a new version of Augusta. The new version is called Magnolia National to avoid the legal issues with the previous version.
An updated version of TPC Boston has been posted to fix the frame rate/crashing problems. Also Jeff Helton has released a new course, Montour Heights Country Club.
Terry Armstrong has released TPC Boston.
