David! I know #5 may have a new bunker left and short of green. Also #6 is a work in progress but not sure if it will actually play any different.

Looks like the 13th tee is using the back 15th tee in that image. Doesn't seem right to me but I could have gotten it wrong when I routed it on the plot.

Now that I look at it again Brian David's tee on #13 appears short of #14 green and maybe slightly more of a dogleg and on the regular overhead its near the 15th tee area.

I just used the land plot provided and tried to match it to hole maps from the Shinnecock website.
I know I moved the tees on 5 & 13 to the older shorter positions, to match the yardages on the hole maps.
The new ones would have had 5 and 18 shot paths crossing, I thought that wasn't allowed in the architect?

No you can cross shot paths. If you use the wizard it won't let you but outside of that it's no problem. I actually did a course back when I was first experimenting with this architect (never released) that did that. Might not be a bad idea to play the shorter tees though. Using the lengthened US Open setup doesn't make sense since the ball isn't going any farther now then it was in 2000 in this game

Actually brought the earth movers in this morning and broke ground.
Started working on hole construction.

Finally,
got all the hole shapes laid out and major elevations in place, just got to work on each hole and fine tune them to look like the real thing.

Good to hear Pols. There are some of us who are still interested.

Shinnecock all finished, just got to add a few spectators and play a couple more rounds looking for glitches.
Should be done end of play tomorrow.
Last day off work too.
