New Course in the works

Hey, all

So, here's a pic of the new course I'm working on. Just started, really. Haven't even thought of a name, though each hole will be named after a type of bird local to Wisconsin, probably the southwest part of the state. Any comments and constructive critiques is appreciated.

I've laid out 3 holes, and this is the first one to reach any stage of completion. It's a somewhat long par 3, up hill. The scorecard reads 192 from the black tees to the center of the green, but the green is very deep and runs right to left, so it can play as much as 210 or so. While it's not the hardest hole on the course, it is a difficult 3 if the wind is in your face and the pin is in the back.

Hole 3, "Red Knot"
Black: 192
Blue: 183
White: 161
Yellow: 148
Red: 146

Looks great ADC. It will take a great shot to get anywhere close to the pin on that hole... :bg:

Thanks, all. It's a very long, very narrow green, about 40 yards deep by 20 yards wide. Kinda tried to model it off the Redan holes, but with two bunkers instead of one.

Here's another hole, this time about 95% complete. This is #2 at what is now officially known as Concordia Golf Club.

Hole 2 "Northern Cardinal"
Par 5
Black: 528
Blue: 510
White: 476
Yellow: 466
Red: 454

Northern Cardinal often plays as the easiest hole on the course. This is on purpose, as Concordia is built to be a fair scoring golf course. The idea is that any hole can produce a good score if played well, and a disastrous one if played recklessly.

The green has two distinct sections. As on most of the other holes the trick to great scoring, in this case a 3, is to make certain you hit the right section. This golfer may find birdie is easier by taking two shots around the water than by gunning for the green in two.
