Some people are getting "run-time xx" errors when they first install the Collator.
What is the problem?
When programmers are writing programs, they often use system-provided system functions called Application Extensions to do certain things. That way, they don't need to write all the code themselves.
Diguelo's Course Collator is written in the Visual Basic programming language and uses seven such application extensions. These extensions show on your system as .dll files. If those .dll files are not there when you try to run the program, the program gets all fussy and spits nasty messages at you like "Run-Time error 53"... then crashes.
What do I do about it?
The solution is fairly simple. You need to download and run VBrun60.exe to install all the required .dll files for the program.
Where do I get this VBrun60.exe program?
I have installed the program in the miscellaneous files area in the "Utilities" section (near the end). You can download it from there.
Install procedure for the Collater
-Uninstall any old versions of the collater
-Delete any old collator folders from your C drive programs folder
-Download and Install the latest collator program (Miscellaneous files)
-Download and run the VBrun60.exe utility
-reboot
You should be good to go.
