Thanks for playing these rounds, Juan.
I will update the scores today.
The great Terry Armstrong created Kauri Cliffs for us to enjoy. He has many other brilliant courses available, a lot of them real course renditions.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
I got to watch a lot of golf today and there were some really good contests. Consequently, the round scores have been close and the tournament scores are also looking interesting. In Rd 2 Tarheel and I shared the Handicap and Stableford honours. However, in Rd 3 Galen and Randy pulled out all stops and gave Tarheel and me a hiding; Randy falling one shot short due to his handicap being one shot worse than Galen's.
In the meantime, Juan put in a couple of steady rounds to keep himself in the overall contest.
I can honestly say that Juan is the dark horse here, he is driving the ball better than anyone, and if he can just complement these great drives by putting his approach shots a bit closer to the hole, he will be posting some very hard scores to beat, with his handicap.
Here are the results for these two rounds:
Cheers

Hi Guys,
we are finally finished our first tournament for 2024. Unfortunately, it concluded with a round that Juan would probably rather forget, with the winds and greens at Kauri Cliffs taking their toll on his game.
Below are the results for Rd 4, with Randy coming out on top. Two great rounds of 58 also helped Randy take out the tournament honours in both Handicap and Stableford events. Well played Randy!
I have also included the FedUp Cup progress scores after Rd 1. Still early days, but Randy's good form in Rds 3 and 4 sees him take an early lead in both events, with Juan's score being badly affected by his Rd 4 result. (Remember, the FedUp Cup Handicap progress is based on the lowest score, while the Stableford progress is based on the highest points.)
Still, there's a long way to go before we crown our 2024 Champion Golfers of the Year.
Cheers
Brad

Hi Guys,
we have also finished Rd 1 of our second event. Thankfully, I managed to tame Hickory Creek in mild winds for a much needed win, just, from a fast finishing Juan (The Dark Horse!).
Cheers
Brad
PS: Our next course(s) and conditions will be selected by Tarheel.

Hi Guys,
just played my final round against Galen. Thankfully the wind didn't prove as difficult as I thought it might, so very happy with this round. It is amazing how well the handicap system is keeping the results close, despite the variances in the Stroke Play outcomes.
Cheers
Brad
