Hole #13 @ Hollow Trails is a 155 yard par 3. The tee sits 13' above the green and you have a straight shot. There are bunkers left, right and rear to catch errant drives and several pins are tricky but this is definitely a birdie hole.

Everyone really likes this background so I thought I would share how it came about. While browsing the internet I came across this panoramic photo of Lake Windermere in England. Looking at it right off you really can't see a background for a golf course but I really liked the sky. After a closer scrutiny I dug into it and discovered that it definitely had the potential for a fantastic backgroung and managed to crop it out for use with Hollow Trails. Now the original size of this background was 18505 X 1800 and I had to size it down to 1920 X 187 to display it here but perhaps you can see Hollow Trails BG in the photo.

Hole #14 @ Hollow Trails is approximately 466 yards to the pin. It's futile to shoot for the second fairway so the smart play is to lay up off the tee making the approach a long iron to a testy green. With heavy winds you will probably need a wood to reach the dance floor and sticking it might be a challenge. This is one of the tougher holes on the course and par is excellent here!

At approximately 515 yards this ridiculously long par 4 15th at Hollow Trails is a power drivers dream. Wide open at the tee you need to avoid the two bunkers on the left side of the landing area and absolutely miss the death trap bunker on the right. Even a monster drive will have you reaching for a wood against the prevailing winds on this beast but it can be reached in two and actually plays shorter than it is but be assured that on a windy day this will probably take three shots to reach the green!

Hole #16 @ Hollow Trails is a par 4 approximately 455 yards from the black tee. It's another wide open fairway for the big drivers and the landing area is protected on either side by one large bunker each. The slightly uphill trek will require an accurate mid iron to a putt friendly green protected front and rear by bunkers.

At approximately 155 yards from an elevated tee the par 3 17th @ Hollow Trails challenges you to stick the green. With a huge bunker fronting the target and water behind this is a testy short hole!
