All caught up on everything now after the vacation. Here is round 4.

Diamondback was a fun course. I like the hole layouts quite a bit.

Hi Guys,

played against Tarheel's Rd 4 last night and it was another cracking contest. Yet again, I managed to just pip him on Stroke play, but not by enough to stop him beating me in Handicap and Stableford. It was primarily a battle of the putters, but Tarheel did blow me off the course with his monster drives. Wow, he is hitting them a long way!

Cheers

Brad

PS: On our selection roundabout, it's Randy's turn to select our next courses and conditions.

No need to apologise Randy.

As I've said all along, this is about playing when you have the time, so you can enjoy this great game, without feeling any outside pressure to get it done.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

I just watched Randy's Rd 4 against Galen's. I love watching these two slug it out. There is only one shot difference in their handicaps, so it is always a close contest.

Randy got off to a great start with an eagle on the first and increased his advantage to two on the second. He managed to hold that lead until the ninth, despite Galen's best efforts to claw back some ground.

The back nine saw Galen do exactly that, and on the eighteenth he had the chance, with a one-putt, to steal a draw. Unfortunately, it was to be a three putt, which saw Randy hold on for a two shot win.

Here are the results for Rd 1. I told you it was tight!

Hi Guys,

just watched Randy's Rd 2 against Galen's and it was a case of the Tortoise and the Hare. Galen was conservative off the tee, while Randy played "Grip It and Rip It!" Galen's plan seemed to be working, as he took a one shot lead to the turn. An unfortunate three putt on 10 handed the lead back to Randy, but it was still close.

All of a sudden, however, Randy morphed from the Hare into the Energiser Bunny and reeled off 7 birdies in a row, to not only blow Galen out of the water, but to deal the rest of us the same fate.

Here are the results for Rd 2. Well played partner!

Cheers

Brad
