Back on topic, I read the OP, took a look at my course list, and decided it was impossible! I have just over 700 courses installed which I would have to rate either between A+ and B+ or between 8-10/10. I'd also have to break it down to type: Links, mountain, oceanside, parkland, tropical; then real links, real mountain, etc.... and I could give several examples of each type per letter.

I know Dar had mentioned this somewhere else, but how much space do all libraries and all courses take up combined?

My Sierra folder is 35 gigs. All courses, libs, splash screens, course notes, music files, etc.

All of which goes to prove which a fantastic job the Headgate people did in designing this game 10+ years ago.

I still only have one major complaint about this game, and that's the drop. There are some things I would like to have seen (better AI, a concede button for match-style games) but those are pretty minor.

Well, it might be at that After reading the posts here, I thought some more about what I had originally requested and realized that even if we did make a list with say the top 5 for each letter - some great courses would get left off and that might discourage or hurt the architects who designed them. I wouldn't want to do that - I retract my request. I did download the courses people suggested though and have found each one of them enjoyable. Thanks all

You would also run into problems with letters like U, X, Y, Z. There are not many to choose from and could end up with some terrible courses on a top 5 list. I don't even know if Z has 5 courses.

I could probably give you my U-Z list.

You left out one of my top 25 all-time 'oldies', Whispering Pines by Stefan Lawinski.

I totally agree with you Doron about Whispering Pines. When we got Billabong Sanctuary, we were so impressed we went ahead and downloaded the rest of Stefan's courses. I think we are going to try and get all of the courses on your list and then eliminate the ones that are not to our taste. We figure we will replace the ones we eliminate with courses not on the list by the designers who make courses we would if we could. I guess our goal will be to keep it to 400 - that would make it a little over 15 per letter of the alphabet Thank goodness for Jorgen's CL tool huh By the way, it must have taken Dar forever to put that kind of list together so if nobody has mentioned it before - thanks a whole lot I can't even begin to think about how many hours of playtesting and comparing reviews that others gave went into compiling the top 25% of the courses available

Bryce, I have 41 "W" courses. That's why I said it would be an impossible task to try to pick out a favorite from just about any letter, although the "rare" letters might.. just might.. be possible. I just checked; there are 3 "z", 7 "y", 3 "x", and 11 "q" courses. I don't know if Dar's ever sorted by "letter of the alphabet", but I wouldn't even want to try counting "t"; there have to be around 100 "The" courses alone.
