I got Adam's course and it installed fine. I grabbed a couple screenshots.
I guess we need to decide .... wait until the other contest courses are ready or go ahead and make it available?
There seemed to be a difference of opinion, so you designers need to reach an agreement.
I will hold for now.

Re: Contest course upload
Personally I like the idea of a particular deadline day for all given that its a competition, and the huge excitement around having a whole bunch of courses to download and try all at once. It might feel like a bit of an anti-climax if they are released, drip-feed style, one by one. Also, without a deadline people might not get round to finding the time to finish (I always was a procrastinator - aren't we all? ), and others still might not want to bother once they've played Adam's course given the quality of his screenshots
As for me - I'm snookered either way as the machine I was working off of was my wife's laptop - which is currently in to its third week at the IT 'specialists'... I'll struggle to get my final 3 holes done in time even if we leave it until 28th Dec...

Re: Contest course upload
Since we have had a couple late-comers, plus those who are experiencing technical difficulties, I vote for the deadline to be 11:59pm Sunday, January 2nd. I also vote for all downloading and judging to begin at 12:00am January 3rd.
Re: Contest course upload
I agree with Adam, and since he finished his first, he should get to choose, especially when it comes to his own course. When we do start voting, I suggest a scoring system, much like when we did the first collaboration course many years ago. Everyone can vote, but to help avoid a tie situation, we rank them 1-3 or maybe 1-5. Contest designers can vote too, but are not allowed to vote their own course.

Re: Contest course upload
I'll go along with extending the time out, just past new year, both for entries in and finished, and being available for download.
It's a busy time of year, and I won't get around to trying any new courses until after new year, as I will be driving around to visit family. I am looking forward o seeing what everyone has come up with though. For voting, maybe go with a 1 - 5 system, depending on the final number of courses submitted.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Contest course upload
If its ok with everyone else and you want to change to January 2nd midnight January 3rd It's OK by me. I just test played my finished version. Still need to make a few corrections but It should be finished before Christmas.
Re: Contest course upload
I'm feeling the need to withdraw from the contest. I'm no where near done, and the new deadline is a week before my wedding. However, I should have two courses ready to upload by the middle of January.
This plot is amazing. I have two full courses, and plan on playing with this one plot for a while longer, just seeing what I can get out of it.
Thanks all.
