Calling Adam Brandt
Re: Calling Adam Brandt
Yep, that's where I got the template from. I modified them in Photoshop, creating top and side edges. The beveled edges are done using blending options. I don't remember the exact settings off hand, but when you choose Layer -> Blending Options then choose "bevel and emboss" you can make the selected layer look like that. I had to work the settings a little to get it to look right. I can upload my .psd file, it has all the layers intact so you can just change what you want, keeping the beveled edges. (except the overhead)

Hey Adam...
I had a course that I started , well I dont remember how long ago...Was using my Terrafab textures that I created a long time ago for Carolina Cottonmouth Course... I named this one Carolina Moccasin (Kind of a sister type course)
Anway, I thought after your response to see how well your texture set would look! HOLY COW....Amazing set....
So I replaced them all last night, and started seeing how the blends line up with what I wanted to do, and it was working out.....Heck I might finish this one of these years...LOL

Hmm, okay I'll have to check out the "generic hole signs." The last ones I tried to use were the brown wooden hole signs; IIRC they were "floaters" on my course (Wabash or Leverette) when I tried to use them. TY for posting that.

Once again must say what a great texture set you created here Adam...I scrapped the "other" course, but was playing around with the architect this morning...
Just seeing how the texture blends work....nice bro, real nice
And
Who knows I might finish a course....LOL

Re: Calling Adam Brandt
Thanks Terry, I'm glad you like the textures! You are certainly putting them to good use, pics look stunning! Really, there is no 1 way to use these, as it all depends on what kind of look your going for. But it looks like you get the idea, good stuff!!
Re: Calling Adam Brandt
Nice Mr Grayson! You really should finish it bro. I'm still planning on doing Rock Barn too, if you want in on that. I'll go play it in the Spring and get some pics, and textures. If you want to come with me, I still have a coupon! LOL
