You're welcome. It took several hours to gather the stats, as each category was listed separately and non-alphabetically with no way to change the sort, but it didn't really take long to create the players themselves. What I've wanted to do for some time is to make another "Legends"-style list that included the golfing greats from the 70's-90's, including golfers like Ballesteros, Strange, Norman, Kite, Crenshaw, Palmer, Nicklaus, Couples, etc., etc. building on the "Legends" player list we already have.

If 39 tourneys x 4 rounds is too much for you, you can always delete the fourth round from the schedule by using the edit function-delete round commands.

In the 90s I had a simgolf game (sorry I can't recall the name) that was only tournament play. IIRC it had 4 courses. It had only so-so graphics but what I liked about it is that it would "flash" information across the bottom of the screen like "Couples birdies #7 and moves into 3rd place 2 strokes back of Crenshaw." That was pretty neat.

Dar, I'm still getting a "page not found" error on the 2011 season schedule. I tried it 3 times, no go.

For now we sort of have a 2 stage process. Dar puts the files in the correct location on the server and sends me an updated Spreadsheet with the locations. Then I copy it from the spreadsheet into the web page to update it. So when it's a problem with a page link it won't work until I fix it. We hope to get it so Dar can do everything. He could do it with notepad right now but we are waiting on him possibly getting the program I have (Dreamweaver) to edit the pages as that will make it easier.

The link problem was my fault. I had changed the location of the utilities page but I forgot to fix the links in the spreadsheet to reflect that change. Both files should be visible and working on the utilities page now.

Wow.
That brings back memories.
Used to play it on the old Amiga PC consoles.
Thought it was made by NASA, it was that advanced at the time.

Ha! Same here Pols - probably because it was SO much better than "Leaderboard" that it truly felt like a sim...

This one is for you mate ;)

Oh wow, Leaderboard. Yep, that's the game I described that had "news flashes" of players' scores. I think I played this one on an Atari 500XL. It was a tough game; out of several dozen playings I made the cut just one time.

I still have a box full of dos-based games in the top of our garage; if it wasn't so cold I'd go dig them out, as I have 3 or 4 other golf games in their that I can't recall the name of. We played JN Signature Edition for years; I still have 40-50 courses that I or my brother made over the years. It's also dos-based but I hate to toss them, you know?

Thanks for the link, Links!

Yeah,
Used to have Leaderboard on an Amstrad 464.
Earlier versions just had fairways and water?
I seem to recall a game called Mean 18.
Used to play that one on the works computers when everyone had gone home.
