Pols, posting photos are pretty easy. I just have the Windows Paint program, nothing fancy. Just take a screen shot of whatever, then go to paint and use cntl+v to open it. Then edit and cutout the feature area and save it as a .jpg photo.

Then come here and click on the "upload attachment" bar at the bottom of the post screen.
Click browse and select the file and click "open." Next click "add this file."
Then click "submit."

If the pic is too big just cut it down a little more.

I don't know how to add the open pic to the post though, but this'll get you where you need to go!

Cheers Indy,
I will give it a go when I get home tonight.

Terry,
I would love the Muirfield plot back, I would like to update it to do the real course justice.
If I recall, my skill base was a little lower back then and the course had a few rough edges.

Hopefully, here's the current land plot I'm working on for Royal St Georges.
As you can see, no course perimiter yet, and no beach/sea detail added also.

Yeah, it's easy this posting pictures lark!
Here's the second close up oh holes 5, 6, 7, & 8.
Because of the space between the holes I am able to treat each on individually and drop a texture around it. This helps to keep the point count way down, and also 'localizes' problems for when the architect starts playing up, as it is always wont!

Nice looking work David. I think maybe I try to make my plots too complex after looking at yours and knowing how they turn out. With Bali Shandra, I probably spent 3 or 4 hours making the hills that surround the plot, and that was before I even touched the plot proper.

Like I said Indy, it's different every time, as per course requirements.
Royal St Georges is proving to be (dare I say it) quite simple, as all the holes are mostly stand-alone and have no impact on other holes.
Courses with complex land shapes that cover a few holes require a different approach, I would lay all 18 out on a flat plot with no detail, and then start to build the land features before working on individual holes. For my own designes, I build the land plot first with no holes laid out, and then enjoy the challenge of 'finding' the holes as the plot dictates.
