New Design: Links at Hatteras Isle
Well I guess I have the design itch once again after a long long time away....I just loved Adam's texture set I decided to use it and see what it looked like...I started
building a hole and it led to two and it led to 5 now... Long way to go, but happy so far with progress...I combined my terrain style from Copperhead and Links at Rugged Dunes for this one...I love how the textures when chipping hit soft and roll softly to a stop...I really like that
Below are a couple of screenies... Not done planting just seeing how it all fits together
Tee on 2: This is a drivable par 4 of a tad over 300 yards...If wind is right you will hit the green, but the the green is the main defense...It is wavy to say the least..
Also this may be the first time I have ever built a 600 yard par 5 ( and yes, with the layout of the hole, it is in fact reachable in two) ... I split the fairway with some dunes and the green is a three teir... Not complete, but might be my favorite par 5 I have created style wise.... Hope you enjoy the preview...Enjoying building so far...
Tee 5
And the approach angle...Really like the look of this so far...Heavily tilting toward the ocean...
Thats it for now..Thanks...

Terry! Looks fantastic. How long do you think it will take to complete with your busy schedule?

If I continue on current path (6 holes in about a week) ill be done in a few weeks... Usually I can crank a course out in just a month or so when i get involved in it
Hopefully Ill continue with the interest and finish it up soon...
