Re: New PC golf game - not sure but looks promising

It doesn't look very promising at this point that the Perfect Parallel team will meet their funding goal, only at 5% of their objective about halfway through the schedule. Probably a combination of setting the bar too high, plus it doesn't seem like they had a very good plan for marketing it. They s...

Re: New PC golf game - not sure but looks promising

I know I don't post much here - Links has always been my primary game - but I do stop in every week or so to see what's going on. I noted this post a while back and wanted to bump it. PerfectGolf is in the middle of a Kickstarter fundraiser - basically "crowd funding" - they are trying to ...

Re: Kewadin Prairie Lodge by Adam Brandt [New Course]

I like this course a lot! I am very much a sucker for prairie-links courses, so the name and one glance at the screenshots made it an immediate download and quick 18. It has a look and feel of a Sand Hills, in fact I was wondering if you used actual photos from Sand Hills or Dismal River for the pan...

Re: What's your opinion?

Glad it's not just me! I've had my share of Tin Cup moments (Roy MacAvoy - not you, Dar!) on par threes over water where it seems like the ball just won't go anywhere! (Engineer alert!) FWIW - moist/humid air is actually less dense than dry air. A molecule of water (2 hydrogen + 1 oxygen = H2O) weig...

Re: Terror Alerts

Absolutely freakin hilarious - the funniest thing I've read in a long long time! I pasted it into an email and sent it to some buddies - and I NEVER do that.

Thanks for sharing!

Re: Members and new members introduce yourself

I'm John, 40 years old living in Indianapolis, Indiana. Engineer, married, father of two boys. IRL handicap of around 10. Links is my preferred golf sim, but above all I'm a golf course architecture freak. I enjoy playing fictional courses more than real courses, because I like to see how everyday p...
