My guess is that whoever created the library that has the deep rough/fringe texture either mistakenly hit fringe on one of the three options, or simply forgot to change it again later.
Unfortunately, there is no way you can change that.

Re: Testing!!
Terry! Love the look of your 9th green and bunkering. I know your trying to blend the rough into the desert but generally speaking desert courses don't blend like a dunes courses. Just for your info. You might have a little blending but where the desert meets the rough but the desert dominates so I...

Re: Testing!!
Definitely looks nice so far, a wise choice of colours. However, I wonder if it would look better if the blends were tighter. Especially when going between the green rough and desert sand.

Re: Designing A Hole
If I may interject for a moment... " Do your course work for the one hole, save it then exit (which eliminates the problem of sunspots), return and compile. " - You don't have to exit before the first compilation. The first compile of any architect session (regardless of the number of time...

Re: Cliff Course by Terry Grayson
Terry, Don't know if you know this, or have tried it, but here goes anyway. Maybe it'll be helpful for someone out there. If you still have the architect plot, or it has happened again, select all the objects, hold down Ctrl, move them slightly, click undo and they should all conform to the elevatio...

Re: Library Creation
You can make any 2D object, texture or panorama you want, as long you know how to use a graphics program. Unfortunately, you can not define people, or any other type of 2D object, as being tournament only. If you create and place people on the course, they will be there during play whether you're pl...

Re: Thinking about project "Kapalua Plantation Course"
It's the rendering distance in the game. Basically the maximum distance you can render in the game is 750 yards (off the top of my head). The jagged area would simply be the polygons beyond the 750 yard mark from the tee. Most courses have this area hidden behind trees, are downhill, or a combinatio...

I don't know specifically what kind of tree they are, but they do resemble the Norfolk Island pine.

Re: Penrhyn Township Links
Ladies and Gentlemen, Thanks all for the comments. I absolutely love it! It really highlights for me the path each designer goes through to create. I'd be very interested in seeing a journal of one hole from each designer as it starts, develops over days or weeks, until satisfied. For example I've i...

Re: I've stuffed it up again
Hopefully I'll answer this right, because I don't know about KALI and the collator. I created the library from scratch on my old XP system. After moving everything onto the new Vista system, when I loaded the library in the library creator, all objects, textures and so forth showed blank, but the co...
