Golf Sim Clubhouse Forum

I think I read here that your intent was to expand the site to other (golf?) sims, and this is the first step towards that end. Shouldn't there be a sticky here where interested existing members and new members can download the game, get activation codes or whatever? How else is this noble effort going to continue?

Yes, unfortunately I don't have as much time as I'd like to do things around here though. I still have activation codes. If you or anyone else wants one just let me know and I'll send it. You download the game through the portal and you can get the portal from this link: http://www.golfsimclubhouse.com/wgc2011 ... portal.zip

Brian, sorry to have to bother you again, but I downloaded and activated the link to the Red Chain Website. It looks like any other Games website. I don't know what to do next. Even if I had a code for WGC2011 I wouldn't know where to go to use it.

OK no problem, here's step by step instructions, hopefully this will help.

To get the game:
----------------------
1. Download the Red Chain Portal from http://www.golfsimclubhouse.com/wgc2011 ... portal.zip

2. Unzip and install Red Chain Portal

3. Run Red Chain Portal and create an account

4. Go to the Games menu and select enter activation code. If you need an activation code post and I will PM you one.

5. Go to the Games tab and click the download button.

To download courses:
--------------------------
1. Go to http://www.golfsimclubhouse.com/wgc2011/courses/ and click on the course you want to download it.

2. Unzip the course file to the following folder:

For XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\RCGPORTAL\Courses\Golf

For Vista or 7 - C:\ProgramData\RCGPORTAL\Courses\Golf

To Load the game:
-------------------
Go to the games tab on the portal, and click the play button.

Hey bogey, I read your message at work Monday morning but then I completely forgot to send you a code when I got home. Sorry about that. Good thing Greg posted and got me back to this thread. You both have activation codes in your PM's. Greg, you don't need an activation code for PGA 2000, just download and install it.
