A Hidden run

Hey all, I had a run of six birdies on Hidden Hills that was a lot of fun the other day. After a par on the 13th, I finished off with 5 more in a row for 11 birdies on the final 12 holes! Of course I was playing solo without the girls so it did not amount to any victories but I sure got excited about it
It got me thinking, how many of you have had similar runs? On what course? In compettition or solo? I would like to hear about it as now I can finally relate to going low in a round. I wound up shooting a 6I which is an all time best for me. I don't know if Hidden Hills is the toughest layout we have to play but it certainly has always been a little more than challenging for me. Thoughts???

sandwedge! WOW thats a really good score on most any course. Can't say for sure if I've ever finished 11 of 12 on a course. I've had numerous times where I thought I might shoot a 59 but its still never happened. I know theres plenty of people in this community that have finished 11 of 12 and better.
Some of my season scores from last season got erased due to computer problems. But according to my season stats from last season my low score was (62) which I shot twice. Once at Bethpage Black and once at TPC Waterloo (Euclid). Also had a (63) at Colonial and two (64's) at other courses. Of course since some got erased there may have been others.

Had a 59 once around Dornoch, not the hardest course in the game though!
Don't think I've ever broke par at Bethpage, let alone shoot low numbers. That is one of the hardest courses in the game for me.

About 5 or 6 years ago at Golf des Laurentides, I think I started with 13 straight birdies, but made a couple of bogeys on the way in. Still one of my best rounds ever.
What did you shoot for the whole round Sandwedge?

My best round ever was a -9, 63 at Yarra Yarra way back on 8/1/01. I have broken par at Bethpage, shot a -2 there on 3/19/04. That's probably a bigger accomplishment then the -9 at Yarra Yarra.

Those are great scores... I have on numerous occasions birdied or eagled every hole on many different courses...
Im not as good as I once was, as I dont play often.... Most times now when I do play, I just get up there and hack and may occasionally use loft of the setup I learned from Magicman...
For a while I was not making putts, which I used to be deadly at, basically if I hit a green, I would make the putt most times,......That went haywire for a bit, but I finally got my camera tuned back in right
and have begun making a few here and there again.....
Agree on Bethpage, probably one of the toughest courses....Dry plays like very dry on most other courses, but it sure is fun trying to tame that beast....

I shot a 61 which is an all time best for me
I have never had any kind of run like that before - usually the runs I get are either all bogies or to the bathroom
