Hi Guys,
in my haste to catch up after our trip, I completely missed that Randy had posted his third round at the Wetlands. Not only was this a terrific round, it included a wonderful Ace on the second hole. Well played partner!
All rounds have now been completed for this tournament and it couldn't have been closer. As you will see from the results below, there were several ties in the round results and very little in the overall outcome.
Similarly, there isn't much in the FedUp Cup scores, but with time running out, Tarheel is going to be hard to catch for Champion Golfer of the Year, if he keeps paying to his normal standard. No pressure Brad!
Off we go to Blacklick North and Dragon's Trail. Hopefully we may be able to squeeze in one more event before the year is out.
Cheers
Brad

Hi Guys,
just played my first round along with Galen and Randy. I was extremely happy with my round, managing to put most of my approach shots within one putt range. But, the excitement was happening beside me.
As you know, Randy and Galen are on the same handicap, so it always promises to be a close contest, and this one did not disappoint. They had exactly the same scorecards through the first ten holes, but then Randy's accuracy on his approaches let him down a little, letting Galen take a two hot lead on 11 and 12. Randy fought back with a terrific chip-in on 13 to reduce the lead to one. It stayed this way until the 16th, where Randy's longer drive capability saw him clear the stream for a much shorter approach to the green. He took advantage of this, with a fine approach, snatching a birdie to Galen's par. Match all square.
We all missed the narrow fairway on 17, but Randy's wild second looked like it may cost him the contest. But a great approach saw him halve the hole to remain all square. Solid play by both men saw the last shared in birdies to see the final result all tied up.
Thanks for entertaining me again gentlemen. Much appreciated and well played.
Cheers
Brad

Hi Guys,
just played my Rd 2 against Galen. Neither of us went as well as Rd 1, but that has to be expected with the fan being turned up a bit.
Five rounds played so far and nobody has been able to birdie the 6th hole. That is one tough Par 4!
Reasonably happy with my round, but putted for four eagles and didn't get any of them. So, it could have been better, but hey, no complaints.
Can't wait to see how the rest of you fair on this interesting layout.
Cheers
Brad

Sad news, fellows. My wife, whose health has been declining for some time, passed away last night from a sudden severe pneumonia. I'm going to need some time to get over the loss.
