Hi Guys,

just played my second round against Tarheel, and what a titanic struggle it was. He hit two amazing early eagles and, no matter what I did, I just couldn't bridge the gap. Finally, he gave me a couple of chances on the back nine, which I took, to even the match. However, a terrific cross-hill putt on 18 sealed the deal for him. Well played Sir!

Amazingly, not only did I score the same overall score in both Rds1 and 2, but I got the exact same score on every hole. I don't think I've ever done that before, in the thousands of rounds I have played since 1999.

I went on to play my Rd 3 at Warren's magnificent Riverdale. I don't think I have ever had to plan a round more than this round. This course asks you to choose your clubs wisely, but to also choose the shape of shot you are going to play. You often have to give up distance, just to give your next shot a chance of gaining some ground. This is a true challenge! Good luck!

Cheers

Brad

I will have to go back and watch our rounds together. Its a real albatross for me to compete at that level with the Aussie Golden Bear himself! (You!)

Hi Guys,

just played Rd 4 at Riverdale. I am currently on my way to the bar for several stiff drinks. This course is a brute. Bring your "A" game, both on and off the green. Thankfully, my putter saved me on several occasions.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

just watched Galen's first two rounds. Rd 1 started with consecutive pars and birdies for the first few holes. Then, on Hole 7, his tee shot hit something and put him at risk of his first bogey. He dug deep and salvaged a very good par, which seemed to inspire him to bigger and better things, as he went on to get eight birdies in the next eleven holes. :wow:

Rd 2 was even better, with some terrific approach shots setting up very short putts for birdie. With a little bit of help from his putter, both of these rounds could have been two or three shots better.

You're playing very nicely, Galen.

Cheers

Brad

I've been in touch with Randy through email prodding him to return to the tour. He replied saying he is unable to sign in with his username and password. He has reached out to Brian about this but no reply back. Chrome reports to me that this site is "Not secure" but nothing more specific.
