I use the medium meter, but go all the way to the end, to get maximum distance. I regularly outdrive Galen, so I guess I'm up near the 290-300 mark on average. I tried the fast meter, but my reflexes aren't that good.

Cheers

Brad
Thanks Brad. I always thought that the slower the speed the less distance you could get from your clubs so I never tried the lesser speeds. You learn something new everyday.
I use medium meter, with overswing.

Tried the medium and even fast but couldn't get the feel for it so went back to very fast which definitely makes power drives very, very difficult. On another note upgraded Adobe Photoshop and am trying to get the feel for the advanced programs. Am so used to Photo Shop 7 that I'm having trouble getting used to it as well. Did get a new PowerSpec system which is really fast and loaded JN6. Just WOW!!

Hi Guys,

watched Tarheel's first two rounds at Windbrook against Galen's and my rounds and it was a tremendous watch, the highlight being Tarheel's Ace on the third hole in Round 2.

The scores were all very close, particularly in the Handicap and Stableford events.

Unfortunately, I have not heard from Randy or Juan about whether they are continuing on the tour (I hope so!), so I will post some round and tournament results for the three of us who have posted scores.

Despite missing some rounds, Randy and Juan are still eligible for the FedUp Cup titles based on the rounds they have played so far. Should they start playing again, those scores will be incorporated into FedUp Cup consideration.

Cheers

Here is round 2 at Hollow Trails. I really enjoy this one Steve! Its wide open, but most holes offer a need for thoughtful ball placement. And, in the spirit of this type of course, you really will end up with tricky second shots when you drift off course from the tee.

This round, I decided to mostly stop banging the ball hard, and played a more controlled game. It was the right decision! Those times I put the ball where I didn't want on the drive, the scramble game was highly successful. Number 18 was a bogie in progress as one such example...

My rather long break from the game, much like when I take breaks in my running schedule, helped focus me.

Tarheel, am glad your enjoying it. Was one of my favorites to design.
