If you have trouble shanking, maybe your playing golf too late. There were anti-shank clubs in the early twentieth century. Now there are none.

George Bush's grandfather, George Herbert Walker , was president of the USGA in the 1920s. The Walker Cup is named after him.

Perhaps equally as amazing as Jack Nicklaus' 18 wins in professional major championships is the fact that the Golden Bear has finished second 17 times in those four tournaments, the Masters, the U. S. Open, The British Open and the PGA Championship.

Most golf courses in Japan have two putting greens on every hole --- a bent-grass green for summer play and a korai-grass green for winter play.
