A plaque at the 12th hole of Seven Lakes Country Club in Palm Springs, California, commemorates the par-3 as the site of the only hole-in-one for avid golfer and former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

One of the nice things about the Senior Tour is that we can take a cart and cooler.
If your game is not going well, you can always have a picnic.

Pressure is when you play for five dollars a hole with only two in your pocket.

My divorce came to me as a complete surprise. That's what happens when you haven't been home in eighteen years.

" Regarding the practice of no other sport perhaps on the face of the Earth is there so much difference of opinion as in that of golf. The confusion and multiplicity of styles that prevail among players are proof enough of this."

Are golfers superstitious? Most are, although few will admit it. Take Chi Chi Rodriguez, for example. He said he marks his birdie putts with a quarter, but switches to a buffalo nickel for pars and eagles. If the quarter isn't working, Chi Chi has been known to change to a gold piece for birdies. Either way , he always places it with heads showing, not tails. One other thing: Chi Chi won't ever use a ball with a higher number than 4.
