Do you have Terrain Assist already? If so tell me what path you have it at so I can change the directory it expects to find the image and terrain data at when I send it to you. If you don't have it yet I'll send you the whole thing packaged together and tell you where to put it.

That's quite a prime piece golfing real estate provided there Brian.
Thanks for the work on Shinnecock, can't wait to get started, wish I hadn't started Birkdale now, that's caught my attention.
Also thinking The National is too good of a course not to do again, RS Bakers original is excellent, but perhaps dated now.
There's lots of projects there for those who want them.
4 courses in one plot (3 really, I claim Shinnecock).

OK I changed the paths in the project file for your directory location of terrain assist.
http://www.zagerdesign.com/temp/southam ... assist.zip
Unzip the folder to your Terrain Assist folder (the inner one).
Run Terrain Assist.exe and go to File > Existing project and open the Southampton folder and Southampton.prj file.
The elevation data and photo will load, and it may take a minute or so. Once the DEM and Shapes menus are no longer grayed out it is ready. This is not required for drawing shapes but if you'd like to see the 3D view of it you can go to DEM > Step 1: Import 3DEM. Use arrow keys and plus and minus keys to move around.
Follow the direction under drawing shapes on this page:
http://www.zagerdesign.com/golf_design/ ... _using.htm. You can skip the part about loading the photo as that should be done already if my resetting the paths worked correctly. Step 1 says go to Images > Draw Shapes menu although in the version I have of Terrain Assist now it looks like it is Shapes > Step 1: Draw Shapes. Nothing else has changed.
Also you'll have to either delete or drop the shapes on the plot from the previous download. Otherwise it won't import you new shapes to it correctly.
Let me know if you have any problems or questions.

Have you been able to figure it out and get some shapes on the plot?

If you are talking to me Brian, then the answer would be no.
Half way through Birkdale now, will finish that before I start on Shinnecock.
Want to give it my full attention.

Sorry, no I was talking to DC#1. I figured you were going to do it without tracing again like you did with Fishers Island.

OK, no problem. Just let me know when you do as I'm curious how it works out for you either way.
