Next Project ...... perhaps?
Re: Next Project ...... perhaps?
That would be nice, and interesting, and novel for me.
If you build it, they will come!

Brian -
Pagoda went over great with me - play it a lot actually because it has that municipal feel.
David -
I am sure whatever you set out to construct we will all enjoy it - Fischer's Island is a beautiful layout and has some interesting holes as well. I absolutely love Castle Stewart and will probably never delete it off my hard drive!

Thanks for the comment, good to know.sandwedge wrote:Brian -

Polslad, I started looking at it but there is a slight hitch in that I forgot how to do the parts specific to getting it into PGA 2000 so I have to go back and read my own tutorials. Nothing major, I'm sure it will come back to me as I read, hopefully won't keep you waiting too long.

Re: Next Project ...... perhaps?
Do you have a date you want this by? My week is pretty filled up with other stuff so I'm thinking not until this weekend if that's OK?
Re: Next Project ...... perhaps?
Whoa there Brian!
Don't put yourself under any pressure, I said I was still at the thinking stage.
No timescale what so ever.

Oh, OK, guess I should have asked, when do you want it by?
Re: Next Project ...... perhaps?
Brian,
Please proceed at your own convenience.
I am in no hurry at all.
I haven't set any deadlines or anything.

Re: Next Project ...... perhaps?
I have the plot imported now. I'm going golfing this afternoon but I will get it out to you by tonight. I will also give you the directions on how to draw your shapes for fairways, greens, bunkers, tees, etc. in the correct locations. I'm going to have you use the Terrain Assist program to do this as it is much easier then trying to do it with GhostIt. It isn't too hard, if you can figure out how to use the architect you'll have no problem with this and if you have any questions I'll be happy to help.

I still have to work out the best way to get the Terrain Assist program set up for you with the project file. In the meantime here's the plot. I roughly traced the Island and 2 holes on opposite sides of the course to make sure everything was looking OK. Used Peninsula State Park library so you'll have to have that one uncloaked to open it.

OK Brian,
I got it.
When I can get around to having the time to open it is another matter!
Cheers.
