Dar! Sounds like you'll be running a four minute mile soon
Re: Blew a Tire
Just a little status report
It is now three weeks and 5 days since the total knee replacement.
-The continuous passive motion machine went back on Nov 30... peaked at 100 degree bend... didn't need it anymore
-The surgical incision is almost 100% healed... no swelling... no redness or any signs of clotting
-Physical therapist just left... walking on a cane with no limp at all. Actually getting around the house without the cane most of the time
-Climbed the stairs today with full weight bearing on the surgical leg... a pretty major milestone
-Pain is almost non-existent at this point except when I get up from a low chair... something I couldn't do at all before the surgery
-Will be free to drive tomorrow (Dec 5)
I am thrilled with the results of this Knee replacement. If anyone is considering having one done, I would be happy to share what I have learned.

Re: Blew a Tire
That's great to hear!
Re: Blew a Tire
Dar! Sounds like things are going great. Hope it continues.
Re: Blew a Tire
Glad to hear that the knee is going great. Now maybe the next time we play as a team I won`t have to carry you. lol See ya on the course soon.
Re: Blew a Tire
Good news is the right knee replacement was a complete success.. bad news is, the left knee is now in need of replacement. I don't have a surgery date yet, but it should be soon (very painful). When I have specific dates, I will post them so you will know how long I will be unavailable. The site remains in Brian's very capable hands.

Re: Blew a Tire
Hope everything goes well. You've been through it once already, hopefully that makes the chances high that the second one will go just as smooth.
Re: Blew a Tire
Surgery Date set at 8/17/17... Then a few weeks of rehab
