Castle Stewart Upload

Post by Polslad »

Wel,l I have followed the steps on the upload page, my latest offering in now uploading.
Hope I have done everything correctly, althought the upload started before I clicked the ZIP option, is this OK?

The course is a real course rendition, situated near to Inverness in Scotland, and is the current home to the Scottish Open, a European Tour event.
There is one custom library, Castle Stewart, and the only other none stock libraries used were Coos Bay and Coos Bay blend.

David...
I am looking at the upload server and I see
the Castle Stewart splash file
the Castle Stewart architech file
a Castle Stewart zip file with only 136 bytes in it.

If you reuploaded the course file or an XCR file, it clearly didn't work.
You should compress the splash file with the course file and upload again. That way the splash file gets passed automatically to whomever is installing the course.

I think if you compress it in a zip file yourself and then also check "Always zip before upload" in the upload utility it causes it to not work right. So either zip it yourself or check that box and have the upload utility zip it but don't do both.
