WOOOOT! P.B. award!

Post by ADC »

I just played my best round ever, and I've finally broke 70 since I joined GSC. I shot a 69 at Augusta 2005 on long, dry, gusty. At one point, I was -5, but bogeyed 17 and 18. Not a great finish, but I'd birdied 15 and 16 as well.

I'm happy. Thanks, everyone, for keeping this game going for so long.

Time for work,
Alex

Alex, you shot 69 with gusty winds? Wow, that's good for anyone in my opinion! I usually shoot 3-5 shots higher with gusty or strong winds. Congrats!

I hope so, I just fired 81 at Pine Valley under the same conditions, lol.

Congrats to one of the great folks in our community here! One question, what is the P.B. award?

Personal best award. 69 would be my lowest round ever, even in real or sim golf.

Did it again. Shot at 68 in the second round of the Western Open at Coos Bay on l/d/b.

Ok, so, allow me one more bit of excitement.

I just had the best tournament round I've ever played. We have gotten 18 inches (!!!!) of snow since last night. This allowed for some pretty serious PGAing.

I shot a 69 in the first round of the Kapalua tournament. I've never really gotten into season mode before, but I'm looking at it right now. I set it up on the 2012 schedule, with the players from the 50's and 60's. I don't know if this will keep up, as I was just on a/n/b, and it said Kapalua played to "+6." I've never been in the top 50 of a tournament before, and right now, I'm 3rd, lol.

The best bit? The name right above me is my grandfather. He was a professional at the time, though he never had a tour career.
