The consolation for the loser in golf is that he gets more practice and exercise than the winner; he gets to hit the ball more times.

The practice putting green is either half as fast or twice as fast as all the other greens.

There is no movement in the golf swing so difficult that it cannot be made even more difficult by careful study and diligent practice.
