Sleeping Bear Downs ** Now Available **

Post by JReel »

Hi all,

I started design work on Sleeping Bear Downs nearly 10 years ago, it is finally completed and ready for play! The zip includes hole-by-hole notes from the designer, a round with the designer and, of course, the course! SBD was inspired by the design work of CB Macdonald and Seth Raynor and includes nine of their "template holes" (including a Redan, Eden, Maiden, Road, Biarritz and others!). Below are some screenshots of the final design.

I would love to hear what players think and I hope you enjoy the course!

Big thanks to BradtheDad and tarheel for play testing the course. Their feedback was instrumental in making the course playable and taking it to the next level. Many thanks guys!!

The course can be downloaded here: https://golfsimclubhouse.com/jack/jn6/f ... _Downs.zip

Best, Jeff

Below are some additional screenshots from the completed course.

As I said, I'd love to here players' thoughts on their round!

Thanks John. I definitely made SBD to be more playable and not as difficult as National. Having said that, you still have to think your way around SBD if you really want to go low. Glad you enjoyed it!

I would like to see Bandon Dunes too... Jeff, you have the skills to make a great coastal course like BD.
