Putting in JN6 and Course Designer

I had come into a copy of JN6 several years after it stopped being commercially available, and just have a copy of original program disc.

Putting is brutal in my version and I understand there was an update that fixed this problem but by the time I started playing the game had been shut down by that point and everything was out of print. Does anyone know where I could find the update?

Similarly, in the 1990s I had played around with designing courses for JN4 and I would really love to attempt designing courses for JN6, but I don't have the design software. Does anyone know where I could find a copy of the course design software?

As far as the design part of JN6, if you have the install CD, it is under the setup folder and will install when you hit "setup.exe".
