Re: Making 3D objects
Thanks Chet The link works fine, and with 3D Max 7 I got the plugin working by copying the .dle file to the plugins folder at the install location. The only problem I have is that when I import a .3ds object and then export it to .CO2, all of the colour seems to be lost - it renders in black in the...

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
That worked perfectly. And yeah I have a lot of detail work that I’d like to polish up before it’s posted but It’s heading in the right direction.

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
Oh wow, good catch. I'll give that whirl then its back to the detail work. Did you have a chance to get the Wanaki plot at all? This is somewhat kinda fun putting these together.

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
I uploaded using the DropUpload1.87 from the link. I've used every texture setting but mostly use the default 512 since I couldn't get the 1024 to work at all. What I have done is just the first rough draft as I have a lot of detail, tree and tee work yet to do but I want to make sure it works and p...

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
Well that was mostly a swing and a miss although I did identify one issue. I had one tee that was assigned to Tee 2 and not Tee 1. That allowed it to only show my set tees where previously it showed Tees 1-5 without any yardage noted. That said as soon as I tried to load it I got the same error yet ...

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
I had a shot marker for each hole, even Par 3s. I'll remove those tonight and see what happens. I'll post an update either way. But yeah works in the "PLAY" section of WGC just fine but not in Fitness Golf. I get to select the course/conditions/which holes to play/etc but once it loads to ...

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
This is probably not your area of expertise but I have a demo working version of the course setup that works in WGC but when I try to open it in Fitness Golf to see how it plays (trying to hammer down correct bounce, roll, etc) it just says "Error with File". I don't change any of the &quo...

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
Looks great and thanks for sharing. With this course and Wanaki most of at least mostly played courses so I'll feel at least less depressed about the lack of real golf.

Re: Terrain tutorial out of date? Or just personal confusion
Thank you very much! And yes that's the worst Par 5 ever....so brutal. Who shapes a hole like "U" and makes it incredibly narrow guarded with trees everywhere. Not to mention if you manage to get to the final corner to set yourself up for a nice wedge on to the green for a birdie/par attem...
